Like to Ski After Shopping? Skate? Or Squizz at the Aquarium? Your Favorite UAE Mall?

The Mall of the Emirates has been awarded ‘Best Mall’ in the UAE through a ‘comprehensive’ and ‘independent’ survey conducted by Ethos Consultancy, reports AMEInfo (8 July 2009).

Survey Strategy
Ethos Consultants sent scores of mystery shoppers to 35 UAE malls armed with criteria like staff service, the staff’s knowledge of products, how they responded to customers and their enthusiasm for the job.

Congratulations to the Mall of the Emirates for taking the gold medal.

You Be the Judge
Without taking anything away from the mall champs, what is your pick for best mall of the UAE and what criteria is important to you?

Love to Skate and Shop?
Would you go for size or newness and select the Dubai Mall because it has a skating rink for the kids to keep them occupied while you shop and a monstrous aquarium where you can threaten to feed your kids to the sharks if they misbehave?

Shopping in Style
Would you vote for the Ibn Battuta Mall because it has a story to its architectural style, you can shop in the footsteps of Ibn Battuta and the whole thing is a religious experience?

New and Light
Would you vote for the Festival City because it has the largest bookshop in the Emirates, the largest retail outlet in the UAE, it is relatively light inside and has great walks and water outside?

Shopping Downhill
Would you vote for the Mall of the Emirates because of the handsome prizes they are giving to lure you into their doors or because you can chill out on the ski slopes afterwards?

And your winner is….?
