Shaikh Mohammed’s vision of Dubai and the UAE being ‘No 1 in the world for health’ received support when Laura Bush visited the UAE yesterday.It was part of the US first lady’s tour through the Middle East to highlight some of the diseases afflicting people in the region, especially breast cancer.
Breast cancer is the number one killer in the UAE and many succumb because of the stigma associated with the disease, resulting in a high rate of late detection.
