So you missed the opening of the Atlantis Hotel the other night and a sight of the fireworks display billed as "seven times larger than this year's Olympic Games opening ceremony" in Beijing and "visible from space"?Don’t worry. Have a look at the pyrotechnics happening early this morning over the Arabian Sea. It was also visible from space and it did not come at the obscene cost of the hotel launch.
I took the picture this morning from the Khor Kalba beach (south of Fujairah and near the UAE/Omani border).
