The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) has some interesting photos of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on their web site.These have been taken from satellites and they come with descriptive commentary that point out different features in the frames.
The photos are clickable to enable magnification and the viewing of further details.
