CNN has been examining the media reaction by international television channels, blogs and newspapers to the Republican National Convention in the USA.They look at McCain’s timing of the announcement of his running mate, his choice of a prospective VP and how this decision took the anticipated ‘bump’ and afterglow away from Senator Obama’s party.
