Dubai-based, Associated Press journalist, Barbara Surk has written about the downsizing of Dubai’s projects and the vision of its ruler.The constant unveiling of glitzy, jaw-dropping projects has been replaced by a subdued approach with schemes being toned down and undertaken with caution.
Surk assesses His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, saying that while he has been credited for his city’s boom he has yet to take responsibility for the bust.
